What the video says

In Moscow, Idaho, there hadn't been a homicide since 2015. Until November 2022. Madison Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin were killed in a rented house near campus. Two roommates survived. Police had DNA on a knife sheath, and a white Hyundai Elantra on video. The trail led to a criminology PhD student, Bryan Kohberger. In 2025 he pleaded guilty. Four life sentences. No trial. No death penalty. Was that the right deal? The full case file is on casepin dot org.
