Fighting between rival football supporters at Heysel Stadium in Brussels led to a crowd crush and the collapse of a stadium wall on 29 May 1985, killing 39 people and injuring about 600 before that year's European Cup final; Belgian courts later convicted 14 Liverpool fans and a Belgian police captain of manslaughter. What the video says

39 fans died in Brussels before the match. They played anyway. 1985. The European Cup final, Liverpool against Juventus. A thin fence between rival fans came down, and people ran. The exits were blocked. The crowd pressed an old wall until it collapsed. Most of the dead were Italian, two of them children. The trial reached past the fans.
