Kovan Double Murders: The Man Convicted Was a Police Officer

Tan Boon Sin, 67, and his son Tan Chee Heong, 42, were killed at their Hillside Drive home in the Kovan area of Singapore on 10 July 2013. Iskandar bin Rahmat, an off-duty senior police officer, was arrested in Malaysia two days later. He was convicted of murder in 2015 and executed in Singapore in February 2025.

Two days later, police arrested him in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. He was one of their own. Senior Staff Sergeant Iskandar bin Rahmat. Convicted of murder in 2015, hanged in 2025.
