Angela Green was 51 when she was last seen on June 19, 2019, near her home in the 7600 block of Tomahawk Road in Prairie Village, Kansas. She was a mother who enjoyed gardening and was known to drive a silver 2010 Ford Escape. Prairie Village police describe her as missing and endangered and continue to ask anyone who knew her or had contact with her to provide information.
Angela was not reported missing immediately. A family member filed the report on February 18, 2020, after relatives received conflicting explanations about her whereabouts. The Kansas City Star reported that Angela's daughter had first been told that her mother died from a stroke, but searches found no death certificate. The account later changed to suggest that Angela had left with a friend. Relatives said her phone, vehicle, passport, driver's license, purse, and keys remained behind and that they found no indication she had traveled.
In March 2020, law enforcement executed search warrants at Angela's Prairie Village home and at a property in Olathe. In 2022, Prairie Village police renewed their public appeal, conducted neighborhood interviews and canvassing, and announced that the FBI was assisting. News reports continued to characterize the circumstances as suspicious and the case as active.
No person has been charged in connection with Angela's disappearance. The City of Prairie Village lists Angela on its cold-cases page while describing continuing investigative work. Her fate remains unknown.
