Stefanie Damron, a 13-year-old girl from New Sweden, Maine, in the United States, disappeared on September 23, 2024. She was last seen leaving her family's home and walking into nearby woods along West Road, following an argument with her sister. Her family reported her missing the following day, September 24, 2024.

At the time of her disappearance, Stefanie was described as approximately 5 feet tall and 130 pounds, with shoulder-length brown hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a long-sleeved blue shirt, and black Harley-Davidson hiking boots. Police subsequently released additional photographs of her in an effort to aid the search and help the public identify her.

The Maine State Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation conducted extensive search efforts on Stefanie's behalf, including land searches, witness interviews, and the pursuit of leads across Maine, the wider United States, and Canada. Despite these efforts, Stefanie has not been located. Members of the local community have organized vigils and additional search efforts of their own, both to support her family directly and to raise broader public awareness of her disappearance.

In December 2024, the FBI announced a reward of up to $15,000 for information leading either to Stefanie's safe return or to the arrest and prosecution of anyone found to have been involved in her disappearance. The Bureau also placed her case on its Most Wanted Kidnappings and Missing Persons list, a designation the agency uses for cases it is actively pursuing.

In early 2025, a group of volunteers launched a dedicated website, teamstefanie.org, to support the ongoing search effort. The site is described as offering unbiased case information, links to media coverage of the disappearance, and answers to frequently asked questions from members of the public who want to learn more about the case or help with the search.

As of the most recent reporting available, Stefanie Damron has not been found, and the investigation into her disappearance remains active.
