On 23 October 2015, a suicide bomber attacked a procession of Shia Muslims who were marking Ashoura in the city of Jacobabad, in Sindh province, Pakistan. The attack killed twenty-three people. Among the dead were at least five children. At least 32 additional people were injured in the bombing.
