A TV star was killed on her own doorstep. London, 1999. Jill Dando was one of Britain's most famous TV faces. She presented the BBC's crime show. April 26th. She came home to Gowan Avenue, Fulham, late morning. A neighbour found her. She was 37. Weeks later, her own programme ran her appeal. Thousands called in.
