Mekayla Bali, a 16-year-old high school student, vanished from Yorkton, Saskatchewan on April 12, 2016, after being seen on surveillance footage moving through the town for most of the day. She was last seen leaving a restaurant near the local bus depot between 1:00 and 1:45 p.m. and has not been located since.

Christina Calayca, a 20-year-old Toronto woman, vanished on 6 August 2007 after going for an early-morning jog near Rainbow Falls Provincial Park in Northwestern Ontario. Despite an extensive multi-week police search and several later privately funded searches, she has never been found and her case remains an open missing-person investigation.

Theresa Allore, a 19-year-old Champlain College Lennoxville student, disappeared on November 3, 1978, in Quebec's Eastern Townships and was found dead five months later. The case remains unsolved and has since been linked by her brother's investigation to other unsolved deaths from the era.

Canadian nurse Cindy James disappeared from Richmond, British Columbia, on May 25, 1989, after nearly seven years of reporting stalking, harassment, and violent attacks by an unknown assailant. She was found dead two weeks later, hogtied with a nylon stocking around her neck, having died of a massive drug overdose. A 1990 coroner's inquest could not determine whether her death was suicide, homicide, or accidental, ruling it an "unknown event."

In August 1989, an Indigenous family of four — Ronald and Doreen Jack and their sons Russell and Ryan — vanished from Prince George, British Columbia, after accepting a purported logging-camp job offer from an unidentified man who drove them away in his pickup truck. None have been seen since.

On 11 September 1990, a Faucett Perú Boeing 727 ferrying crew and airline employees' families from Malta to Peru vanished over the Atlantic southeast of Newfoundland after declaring a fuel emergency. Despite a large search effort, no wreckage or occupants were ever found.

Charles Horvath-Allan, a Canadian-born British national, vanished in Kelowna, British Columbia in 1989 while backpacking across Canada, leaving his tent and belongings behind. He was declared legally dead in the UK in 2020, and the RCMP investigation remains officially open.
