Krystal Fraser, a 23-year-old pregnant woman with an intellectual disability, vanished from Pyramid Hill, Victoria on 20 June 2009. A 2022 coronial inquest concluded she was likely killed and found evidence supported the conclusion that Peter "PJ" Jenkinson was involved in her disappearance, though he has not been charged and her body has never been found.

In late 1917 and 1918, station manager Jim Barclay and cook John Bamford were murdered in the remote Wonnangatta Valley, Victoria, Australia. Both men were shot and their bodies found separately months apart; the case remains unsolved.

Marea Yann, a 69-year-old nurse and charity volunteer, was found beaten to death in her Healesville, Victoria home in September 2003. Her former son-in-law was charged in 2006 but acquitted at trial in 2008, and the case remains unsolved with a $1 million reward on offer.

Julie Garciacelay, a 19-year-old American woman living in North Melbourne, vanished from her apartment on 1 July 1975 after three men visited her that evening; police treated the case as a homicide, and a 2018 coronial inquest found her deceased, but no one has been charged.

Sarah MacDiarmid, a 23-year-old Scottish-Australian woman, vanished from Kananook railway station in Melbourne on 11 July 1990 after getting off a train; despite an inquest ruling her death was foul play, no trace of her body has ever been found.

In 1992, three members of the Wettenhall family — Darcy, his son Guy, and Janet Wettenhall — were shot dead at their stud farm in Ceres, Victoria. A farm hand who had worked for the family was charged with the murders but died by suicide in prison before trial.
